Patricia “Pat” A. Vozobule, 84 of Temperance, MI. died Thursday, December 3, 2015, in Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, OH.  Born April 20, 1931, in Oregon, OH, she was the daughter of Verne and Hedwig (Zawodni) Hofbauer. A 1949 graduate of Clay High School, she married Bernard “Red” Vozobule on August 29, 1953, he died on May 8, 1998. Pat was Bedford Township Supervisor from 1978 – 1984. While supervisor Pat served as a member of the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Government’s Executive Committee, as civil preparedness coordinator, as a member of the Township Grant and Loan Committee, Road Committee, Labor Relations Committee and as a liaison to the Bedford Library Advisory Board and the Township Economic Development Corporation.   She worked for former Congressman, Carl Purcell, sold real estate for Danberry Realtors in Temperance, MI, Ad Manager for the Bedford Press, and was a Teacher’s Aide at Douglas Road Elementary School. Pat took a leadership role in many volunteer and charitable organizations in Bedford Township and Monroe County. Organizations that benefited from Pat’s dedication include being a founding member of the Bedford Business Association, Bedford Heart of Hope, Monroe County Republican Executive Committee, Bedford Republican Club, Bedford Business and Professional Club, Bedford Athletic Boosters, League of Women Voters, Campfire Girls, Tawanka Council and Douglas Road Elementary P.T.A. Pat enjoyed cooking, reading, and sports. Her children remember how she made every birthday and holiday special.

She is survived by her loving children, Susan (Steve) Campos, Julie Vozobule, Ginny (Deb Theiler) Pescara and Timothy Vozobule; sisters, Mary (Steve) Bond, Jane (Don) Schnell and Robin (Dick) Mullet; Brother-in-law, Dick Finch; grandchildren, Ben and Matt Pescara, Samantha and Matt Campos and great grandchild, Bretten Pescara. She was preceded in death by sister, Gilberta Finch

Visitation will be from 3-7 pm, Monday, December 7, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Bedford Heart of Hope.  www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
